TUSCARAWAS TWP.: A Massillon man was killed early Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash on state Route 172 at Greenside Avenue Southwest in Stark County.
Trevor S. Wilson, 24, of Massillon, was traveling northbound in a 1999 Chevrolet Malibu on Greenside at 2:53 a.m. when he failed to yield at a stop sign, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
His vehicle was struck broadside by a 2012 Kenworth T470 truck driven by Todd M. Dalessandro, 46, of Orrville, who was traveling east on Route 172.
Wilson, who was not wearing his seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Stark County Coroner’s Office. Dalessandro was not injured.
Possible alcohol use is unknown for Wilson, but is not suspected for Dalessandro, the patrol said.
The crash remains under investigation.
