‘National Treasure’ in Barberton
Whether National Treasure: Book of Secrets is considered a national treasure is a subject of debate. But it will be the feature at the Barberton Library’s Tuesday Evenings at the Movies. The movie starts at 5 p.m. at the library at 602 W. Park Ave.
‘Willy Wonka’ theme at game
It is movie night as the RubberDucks host “The Snozzberries Taste Like Snozzberries” Cult Movie Classics Night at Canal Park in downtown Akron. The movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory will be highlighted between innings. It is also Two for Tuesday at the RubberDucks, so be sure to show your Acme card to be eligible for a buy-one, get-one-free ticket deal.
Two concerts this evening
There are two concerts scheduled. Ozone will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. at Firestone Park, 1480 Girard St. In Munroe Falls, the Metro Parks Ensemble will perform at 6:30 p.m. as part of the Music by the Lake concert series. The concert will be in Metro Park’s Lake Area at 521 S. River Road.
