Stow police and fire officials on Sunday evacuated the Walmart store on Hudson Drive after the manager got a telephoned bomb threat.
The store was searched by a K-9 unit from the Summit County Bomb Squad. No bomb was found.
The call was received shortly after 2 p.m.
The caller told the manager there was a pipe bomb in the store. The caller had or used a foreign accent, Stow police said.
A second 911 call was made to the Stow Police Department.
The incident remains under investigation.
