Akron police are investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday evening at a cemetery in the city’s Rolling Acres neighborhood. Akron Beacon Journal news partner NewsNet5 reported.
Police said an argument apparently broke out as a family was gathering to remember a loved one just before 7:40 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery on Romig Road.
A shot was fired, striking a person in the leg. The victim was driven to Cleveland Clinic Akron General for treatment.
