Akron fire fighters early Tuesday extinguished a fire at Ken-Tool, 768 E. North St.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The fire was reported at 4:30 a.m. by a company employee, the Akron Fire Department said.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters found smoke and flames on the first floor of the building when they arrived.
They initially used water and then switched to fire extinguishers to put out the fire.
No damage figure was released.
Arson investigators were at the scene.
