Police have charged a 42-year-old Hinckley Township man with shooting and killing his brother and sister last week.
Dean Simms, 42, faces two counts of aggravated murder. He’s accused of shooting Cindy Gesaman, 52, and Randy Szychowicz, 45. Simms is identified as the victims’ brother in obituaries.
According to Hinckley Township police, the three of them lived together at the 2600 block Babcock Road home, where the shooting happened at about 2:40 a.m. Friday.
The Medina County Coroner’s Office reported Gesaman and Szychowicz died of gunshot wounds to their heads.
Motive and facts in the case are still being investigated, police said.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Medina County Sheriff’s Office and the county Prosecutor’s Office are assisting in the investigation.
