CANTON: Stark County sheriff’s deputies on Friday found a 7-year-old girl who they say was abducted a little more than an hour after an Amber Alert was issued, authorities said.

They said the girl, whom they did not identify, was not hurt.

The incident began about 7 p.m. and, according to the sheriff’s department, unfolded like this:

Two women got into an argument in the 1100 block of Oak Avenue NW and one of the women — Raina E. Becker, 27 — took the daughter of the other woman and left in a van with two men.

Deputies were called at 7:07 p.m. and issued an Amber Alert shortly after, saying they were concerned for the child’s safety. At 8:42 p.m., deputies and Canton police officers found the van two miles away in the 1100 block of 14th Street NW in Canton. The girl was returned to her mother and Becker, Brandon S. Ramsey, 27, and Jason P. Ramsey, 37, were taken to the Stark County Jail.

They each face charges of abduction. Ramsey was also charged with domestic violence.
