AKRON: The manager of an Akron gym was arrested Tuesday after police reported they observed him selling steroids in the parking lot outside.
Brent Arnholter, 26, of Cuyahoga Falls, was charged with drug trafficking, a fourth-degree felony.
Summit County Sheriff’s Inspector Bill Holland said the arrest was the result of a long joint investigation by the Summit County Drug Unit. Arnholter is accused of selling testosterone suspension, an injectable drug that aids in gaining muscle mass, in the parking lot of Gold’s Gym, 432 E. Waterloo Road.
Holland said the investigation is ongoing, so he could not comment on where Arnholter allegedly was getting his supply of steroids or to whom it was sold.
Additional charges and suspects may result from the investigation, he said.
