ELYRIA: A Brunswick lawyer who lied to police about who crashed his car earlier this year was sentenced Tuesday to 10 days in the Lorain County Jail, the Medina Gazette reported.
Kenneth Lewis, 42, had blamed the accident on a black man who never existed, the newspaper said.
“It seems to be a pattern of behavior with Mr. Lewis that something happens and then he does not tell the truth,” Prosecutor Margaret O’Bryon said in Elyria Municipal Court, according to the newspaper.
