Police are seeking a man who robbed an East Market Street cafe at gunpoint early Monday morning.
The man is described as white, standing at about 6 feet tall and weighing 200 to 220 pounds. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt, a black t-shirt, blue jeans, black shoes with white trim and a black, full-face ski mask.
An employee of Eastside Cafe, 2146 East Market St., said the man entered the front door with a handgun at about 4:30 a.m. The employee fled the scene after submitting to the robber’s demands for keys to the office.
Police found the office ransacked. Missing items are likely but were not reported.
