What went right: Is this a trick question? Hey, at least the Browns figured out how to run the ball again after being totally ineffective in that category in the previous two games. They rushed 26 times for 180 yards (6.9 average). Rookie quarterback Kevin Hogan had seven carries for 104 yards (14.9 average) and a touchdown. Running back Isaiah Crowell compiled 12 carries for 63 yards (5.3 average) and a touchdown.
What went wrong: So. Many. Things. But the defense surrendering 559 yards tops the list. It’s the highest total the Browns have allowed since they gave up 564 on Nov. 6, 2008, against the Denver Broncos. Missed tackles. Poor coverage. What a mess.
The bottom line: Going 0-7 is driving coach Hue Jackson crazy. And who can blame him?
