The U.S. Marshals Service has captured two Akron fugitives — one wanted on aggravated robbery charges and the other for involuntary manslaughter.
Akron police on Thursday announced the arrests of Davon Miguel Irvine, 23, of Alton Drive, and Brock Richardson, 26, of Tonawanda Avenue.
Irvine was apprehended in Stafford, Texas, by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, while Richardson was found in Port Richey, Fla., by the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force. Both are now awaiting extradition to Ohio.
Irvine was wanted on aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary charges for a home invasion that occurred in December 2015 in the 1300 block of Pontiac Street. Irvine and another male are accused of duct taping, zip tying and pistol whipping the residents before taking cell phones and cash.
Richardson was being sought on charges of involuntary manslaughter, corrupting another with drugs and trafficking in drugs. He is accused of supplying heroin to a 21-year-old man who died after using the drug in February.
The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force said it “conducted countless hours of intelligence over the last several months, which included interviews and electronic surveillance in the Akron area.”
