The LeBron James Family Foundation donated new uniforms to the Firestone High School track and field teams.
Officials from the foundation unveiled the new uniforms during a school spirit rally on Friday.
The Akron native and Cavaliers star posted a hype video on his Facebook page early in the day indicating that FHS would be receiving a gift of some kind.
James, a St. Vincent-St. Mary graduate, led the Cavaliers to an NBA championship in June. His foundation has been behind several gifts to his alma mater, and to various Akron Public Schools students and teams. Previous gifts have included computers and athletic uniforms.
