Brunswick police issued a statewide Amber Alert for a 15-year-old girl said to be abducted by her father, who is a registered sex offender, Monday in Brunswick.
The girl, Robin C. Roberts, was last seen Monday at the Kmart at 3301 Center Road in Brunswick in Medina County, according to the www.ohioamberplan.org website.
The man suspected of abducting her is her father, William Christopher Roberts, 40, a registered sex offender with a drug history, according to a post on the Brunswick Police Department Facebook page.
She is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds, according to the Ohio Amber Plan website. She has brown eyes and light brown hair according to the Brunswick police site.
He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Roberts is said to be driving a black Ford Ranger with the license plate PJL4802, according to Brunswick police.
Portage County Job & Family services removed Robin from his custody about a week ago, according to Brunswick police.
William Roberts frequents the Ravenna area, police said.
Anyone who sees either the suspect, child or the vehicle is asked to call 911 or call 1-877-AMBER-OH.
