A Barberton man and woman were arrested Friday in connection with a drug bust at a home on Diamond Avenue in Barberton.
About $950 in cash, 32 grams of crystal meth, numerous prescription pills and unknown powders were taken from the home at about 7:20 a.m. by Barberton Police Department SWAT Team members and narcotics detectives after a search warrant was executed, according to a police report. The items will be sent to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal identification and investigation for testing.
Donald R. Eagle, 43, of the home was charged with two second degree felonies: trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs. Additional charges are pending, police said.
Amy M. Croft, 43, of Barberton was charged with possession of drugs, a fourth degree misdemeanor. It was not clear if Croft also lived in the Diamond Avenue home.
