SPRINGBORO: Police in a southwest Ohio suburb say a 33-year-old man shot his estranged wife and her brother before fatally shooting himself.

Clearcreek Township police responded to a home just north of Springboro around 6 p.m. Saturday to find Eric Walker in the driveway dead from a self-inflicted gunshot. His wife 32-year-old Lauren Walker was hospitalized in critical condition while her 33-year-old brother Justin Michel was reported in stable condition with a leg wound.

Police say the couple was arguing in the driveway when Eric Walker retrieved a handgun from his vehicle. Michel came outside after hearing them argue.

Police Chief Jim Terrill said it was the first such case in his nine years as chief in the township. He said neighbors were not in danger during the triple shooting.
