Have fun, games and free sundaes on Medina’s Historic Square
There will be free sundaes on Medina’s Historic Square. The event sponsored by the Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and includes carnival games, balloon sculpture artist, a photo booth, crafts and other activities.
Eat and listen to music like it’s June 16 at Lock 4
It may not be the third Thursday of the month, but Lock 4 in downtown Akron is going to party like it is. Weather has pushed this month’s Lock 4 thirdThursday festivities back to the fourth Thursday. There will be entertainment, food trucks, games, drinks and a corn hole tournament. Gates open at 5 p.m. and the entertainment lineup includes Rebekah Jean with the Beyonderers and DJ Roger Riddle. Food trucks include Planet Sub, Jimmy’s Backyard Grill and Southern Thangs.

It is Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library Patron Appreciation Day beginning at 9 a.m. There will be a children’s book signing of Ah-choo! by Gloria Adams and Lana Kohler, a children’s craft, magician and entertainer Rick Smith Jr., the community jazz band and outdoor teen games. There will be ice cream, balloon twisters, face painters and cookies with mascot Spike the Turtle. Registration is required for the magic show.
