Akron police are seeking the whereabouts of a 19-year-old woman accused of robbery during a game of cards.
The 24-year-old victim told police she hosted a card game early Sunday morning. During the game, she accused Najae Jeffries of cheating. Jeffries, the woman said, produced a handgun and stole money from the game before fleeing.
The incident occurred at about 2:30 a.m. in the 400 block of West Miller Avenue.
A warrant for aggravated robbery was issued for Jeffries’ arrest. Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at 330-375-2490.
