Barberton police charge businesses with underage sale of alcohol

BARBERTON: A Barberton Police Department undercover operation found four businesses violating the Ohio Revised Code by selling alcohol to an underage individual.

Those charged with underage sale of alcohol were Adam Husein, 28, of Magics Drive Thru, 618 Wooster Road W.; Sara Boylen, 35, of Jo Jo’s Drive Thru, 22 W. Wolf St.; Mohsen Alamri, 30, of Sunoco, 1159 Wooster Road N.; and Robert Walker, 57, of Circle K, 224 31st St. SW.

Penalties for selling alcohol to an underage individual include fines or a liquor license/permit suspension for the business, as well as potential misdemeanor charges for the employee who conducts the sale.

The BPD said it will be following up in the near future with more sting operations.
