Danae Wolfe and her husband, Scott, thought their toddler son’s excited reactions to food were pretty funny.
Apparently, lots of other people did, too. So many, in fact, that Good Morning America has taken notice.
The ABC show contacted the Wolfes on Tuesday about airing a video of their son, which Danae Wolfe originally posted on Facebook and YouTube. Good Morning America has already shared it on its website, https://gma.yahoo.com.
Wolfe believed the video was to broadcast Wednesday morning; a spokesperson for the show could not confirm that.
“This is crazy,” said Wolfe, a former co-author of the Beacon Journal’s Plant Lovers’ Almanac column. She and her husband live in Wooster, and both work for Ohio State University — she as an educational technology specialist, he as a design engineer.
It all started when the Wolfes noticed the eager way 17-month-old Milo responded whenever food would appear at the table, usually in restaurants. “Scott and I would laugh. The servers would laugh,” she said.
So Wolfe got the notion of filming his reactions with her iPhone. She shot footage over about two weeks in May and then edited it using her phone’s iMovie software.
Her original hope was to get The Ellen DeGeneres Show to take notice, but soon she was contacted by Storyful, a company that promotes social media content. The video is also on Storyful’s site, http://storyful.com.
“Milo makes us laugh every day,” Wolfe said. Being able to share his good nature with so many others is “just kind of amazing. It’s so fun.”
