Alliance police on Friday arrested a woman and her live-in boyfriend on felony drug and child-endangering charges after they said a methamphetamine lab was discovered in the basement of their home, the Alliance Review reported.
Arrested on drug charges was Loyal C. Williams, 36, of 740 Garrison Ave.
Cynthia A. Morris, 33, was arrested on child-endangering charges because four children between the ages of 6 months and 11 years old were in the house. Child Protective Services was notified.
One of those children is Morris’ 11-year-old nephew, who was injured Nov. 3 in a hit-skip accident on East State Street. Police have been investigating that accident.
Police said they found a secret room in the basement where the drugs were being manufactured.
