Akron police are seeking the culprits involved in a roadway shooting early Tuesday morning.
Two women reported they left a nightclub on Brittain Road and were headed southbound at about 2 a.m. Near the intersection of Yuma Avenue, they said a gold, four-door Chrysler pulled up next to them and fired several shots. They fled, and the driver of the Chrysler followed until the women’s vehicle crashed on Eastwood Avenue near railroad tracks.
One of the women, 24, was not injured. The other suffered injuries in the accident that were not life-threatening. She was transported to Summa Akron City Hospital.
No description of the shooter is available. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 330-375-2490.
