An Akron woman has been charged with stabbing her boyfriend during a fight on Sherman Street on Friday.
Kimberly Robinson, 56, was charged with felonious assault and was booked into the Summit County Jail.
Police reported they responded to a “large fight” in the 900 block of Sherman Street shortly before 10 p.m. The call initially came in as a shooting, but no guns were discharged.
Police found a 48-year-old man sitting on a porch “covered in blood,” according to reports. It was determined he’d been stabbed and he was transported to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital. Robinson had fled the scene, they reported.
Police later found and arrested Robinson.
