For the second time in as many weeks, Akron police are investigating a series of unrelated house shootings across the city.

Once again, no one was wounded in any of the shootings. Anybody with information is asked to contact detectives at 330-375-2490.

Here’s a list of the incidents, according to police reports:

• 1:40 a.m. Saturday, 800 block of Yale Street: Three teenage boys attempted to enter a house party. A 41-year-old man who lives there said they were not welcome because they were underage.

The teens began walking west and opened fire with handguns. Bullets struck the house.

Police who responded discovered 24 shell casings on Russell Avenue, which intersects with Yale Street.

• Between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday, 300 block of Noah Avenue: A 68-year-old woman returned home and found bullet holes in her home.

Police identified four bullet holes — two shattered front windows and two hit the home’s siding. Officers found four shell casings in the road outside and one bullet in the home’s living room.

A second house, where a 32-year-old woman lives, was struck with two rounds.

• 1:15 a.m. Monday, 1300 block of Alphada Avenue: An 18-year-old woman and her grandmother were in the kitchen when a blue Dodge Caliber drove past the home and bullets struck the house.

The younger woman said she knew someone who drove a matching vehicle. She just had a falling out with that man. She told police she could not see the driver, but gave them the man’s name.
