Here’s a listing of the shootings:
• Shortly after noon Wednesday, a resident in the 100 block of Wesley Place reported she heard a knock at her front door. A man at the door said he owed her father some money, and the woman said she didn’t know what the man was talking about. He said he’d handle it another way, police reported, and then walked away.
Several seconds later, someone fired multiple shots at her apartment, striking the brick foundation and her vehicle in the parking lot.
The man who knocked at her door was described as a 25-year-old black man standing at 5-foot-7. He had black curly hair and wore a black leather jacket, a white shirt and light-colored pants that may have been gray stone-washed jeans.
• Shortly before 2 p.m. that same day, someone fired multiple shots at a home in the 700 block of Boulevard Street. Police who responded to the scene saw a man running from the area and apprehended him after a brief foot chase.
Dashawn Livingston, 22, of Shaffer Street, was charged with discharging a gun into a habitation, receiving stolen property, carrying a concealed weapon and tampering with evidence. He was booked into the Summit County Jail.
Police reported that the gun used in the shooting was recovered along Livingston’s flight path. It had been reported stolen, police said.
• At 10 p.m. later that day, three apartments in the 1100 block of Tarson Terrace were hit by bullets. One of the victims said his television had been hit.
The suspect is a black man, 19 to 22 years old, standing 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 and weighing 160 to 175 pounds. He wore a black, long-sleeve shirt with a gray design on the front.
• At about 2:30 a.m. Thursday, a 50-year-old woman on West York Street was awakened by the sound of gun shots. She found her home had been struck several times. Another woman, 38, who also lives at the home was not there at the time, but reported she had several text messages from her boyfriend threatening to shoot her and the house.
An arrest warrant was issued for her boyfriend, Travonte Griffin, 27, of Storer Avenue. Charges against Griffin include discharging a firearm into a habitation, aggravated menacing and telecommunications harassment.
Police say Griffin should be considered armed and dangerous.
