An Alliance man has been bound over to the Stark County Grand Jury in connection with breaking into more than 100 vehicles in Stark, Portage, Mahoning and Columbiana counties.
Richard Hollenbaugh, 25, faces charges of theft, vandalism, grand theft of automobile, possessing criminal tools and receiving stolen properties, all felonies.
Alliance Municipal Judge Andrew Zumbar on Monday ordered Hollenbaugh bound over to the grand jury.
Hollenbaugh was arrested by Alliance police on Nov. 19 after a three-month investigation.
Police have identified the owners of 50 vehicles that Hollenbaugh allegedly broke into. He stole several thousand dollars of goods and caused several thousand dollars in damages, police said.
