A 35-year-old Akron man is in the Medina County Jail on one charge of burglary and facing additional charges in connection with 30 break-ins.

Arrested was Joshua D. Born of Morgan Avenue.

He was arrested on Friday when Wadsworth and Akron police executed a search warrant on Morgan Avenue.

Police said they discovered more than 60 items that were stolen from residences in Wadsworth since last October.

Born, being held on $80,000 bond, faces additional charges, authorities said.

The items came from the Stratford Crossing apartments, the Valleyview-Longview-Knollwood-Orchard-Good neighborhood, the Brook-Archwood neighborhood, Durling Drive, Fernwood Avenue, High Street, Broad Street, Highland Avenue, Prospect Street, the Wadsworth Trailer Park, West Street and the Briarthorn and Bent Creek condominiums, police said.

Anyone who lost items to break-ins in Wadsworth is asked to call 330-334-1511 or send an email to wadsworthpd@wadsworthcity.org.

Police will be contacting residents who have filed police reports about lost items to return those items.
